Tour de Mapua


I thought this lot might have been navigationally challenged – end of a dead-end road, last couple of hundred metres unsealed, but no, someone had a plan and they were quite taken by the view.

I strolled over to let on that if I’d known earlier I would have tagged along and we had a most pleasant chat, talking about the history of the land and the cottage.

“Be good if you had a café in there” someone ventured.

Offered to crank up the Ascaso with pads of Italian espresso, but they politely declined…

Don’t blame them…
