Lookout

We have 2 quail families at the cottage – one with 6 babies and one with 5 almost grownups.

They do a pretty good job of eating the seeds from the invasive creeper that’s taking over the lawn.

And there’s always one on a vantage point to protect them from the pair of hawks that cruise along the bluff.

Just wish they wouldn’t crap on the deck while they’re at it….

Well, you can’t have everything! You gotta put up with a lot of crap to get rid of creepers.
