Monthly Theme Day – December 2015 – Shop window

The 4 Square Supermarket in Mapua has pretty much everything you need.

It’s a post office and meeting place, sells everything from fish bait to beer and wine.

And it has a noticeboard, with kids offering to do dog walking, Trevor touting gorse spraying, Pip’s looking for a rowboat (“not necessarilly seaworthy”).

Oh, and there’s a Teddybears’ Picnic tomorrow

  3. Kate says:

Sort of like the village well. I think you’d make a great addition to the Teddy Bears’ picnic since you are a real foodie and could give them a few tips on gourmet treats. Don’t bring alcohol, tho.

  4. Jim says:

    Interesting display.

  5. What a neat choice for theme day!

  6. The teddy bear picnic has potential!

There’s a similar noticeboard like this in one of the grocery stores I frequent.
