Ray and Phillipa Hellyer run a PYO berry farm back over in the Moutere valley.

Park up front, risk the wire suspension bridge (maximum 2 at a time…) and – depending on the season – choose from strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, loganberries, tayberries and ranui.

Müsli, here we come….

    Sounds like paradise, with so many different berries on offer. I don’t think there is any PYO place around Auckland this time of year.
