The Pinnacle of Haut Couture. Mot.

Er…”Not”

Motueka (affectionatley known as “Mot”) is rural and rustic.

Lots of utes, not many shoes, dreads abound.

And in the midst of all this, a Mecca for the fashion-concious woman in what used to be the Gothic Restaurant, housed in a deconsecrated 1920 church.

Quite nice, but a bit too pink for my liking.

I was out of there so quickly, I did even note the name.

Just follow the overwhelming stench of perfumed candles

  1. It’s quite light and airy inside.

There’s a former church here that now houses a day spa.
